We spray all shapes and sizes of vehicles, but generally, they fit into one of the following categories:

• Small Vans: VW Caddy, Fiat Doblo, Ford Transit Connect, Peugeot Partner, Citroen Berlingo, Vauxhall Partner, Renault Kangoo

• Medium Vans: VW T4/T5/T6 SWB, VW Type 2 Camper, Mercedes Vito, Ford Transit SWB, Peugeot Expert, Renault Trafic

• Large Vans: VW T4/T5/T6 LWB, Fiat Ducato, Ford Transit LWB, Mercedes Sprinter, Citroen Relay, Peugeot Boxer, Vauxhall Movano

• 4x4 / Pick Up: Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Land Rover Defender

If you have a vehicle that does not fit into one of the above categories, please give us a call.

• Interior: Walls, floors and ceiling are sprayed.
  

• Exterior: Sides are sprayed, but due to the curing process on a flat surface, the roof will not be sprayed.
  

Exceptions: Very tight gaps or corners may not be fully covered due to the nature of the spray process.

We guarantee around 97% coverage. Some very tight spaces may be difficult to reach, but you will still feel 100% of the insulation benefits.

Yes, spray cork insulation comes in a variety of colours, and you’ll be able to select your preferred option when booking.

For interior sprays, we do not recommend using a different colour of cork, simply because it will be covered over by other materials, so it is just adding unnecessary cost.

For exterior sprays, the choice is yours!

This is a great question, and one we’re asked often. Because SprayCork is a breathable product, it cannot be applied directly to flat or horizontal surfaces where water may pool. Over time, standing water would soak through and lift the cork.

It is possible to spray a roof, but it requires an additional protective layer. Once the SprayCork has fully cured (48 hours), a clear liquid rubber coat must be applied to seal it. We supply this rubber coating at £120 for a 5-litre tub, which can be applied yourself by brush or roller between 48–96 hours after spraying (full instructions provided). Please note: it cannot be applied on the same day as the spray cork.

If your van has solar panels or other permanent fixtures on the roof, these will need to be removed prior to your appointment, as the spray cannot reach underneath them.

This is one of the most common questions we’re asked - and the answer is simple: almost anything! Boards, additional insulation, acoustic panels, foam, and more will all adhere to spray cork with no problem.

Silicone. If you have silicon ein the van please remove this before application. If you need to use anything for whatever reason, SikaFlex is ok to adhere to.

Unfortunately, no - the process requires large air compressors and plenty of space, so all work must be carried out at our premises. We understand that some vans may not yet be road-ready or have a valid MOT, but don’t worry - we have ample space for trailers if you need to arrange drop-off.

All bookings must be made online via our website. Slots fill up quickly, so we recommend booking your preferred date in advance.

Yes. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due on arrival at your appointment and can be paid by cash or bank transfer. We cannot start our service until the full balance is paid on the day.

Deposits are non-refundable. However, you can reschedule your appointment up to 7 days before your booking date (subject to availability).

You will lose your deposit If you fail to attend or cancel your appointment, however, you can call to reschedule up to 7 days before your appointment. Any requests to reschedule within the 7 days leading up to your appointment will unfortunately forfeit your deposit.

Yes, absolutely. All of our work comes with a full 2-year workmanship guarantee, giving you complete peace of mind. We’re confident you’ll leave happy, but if any patching is ever needed due to accidental damage in the future, we’ll carry out the repair at material cost only as a goodwill gesture.

Yes, we have a comfortable waiting area with complimentary tea, coffee, and water available.

For those wishing to step out, there is a friendly local pub just a two-minute walk away, serving food throughout the day and offering a spacious beer garden.

On occasion, if the day is fully booked, we’re happy to put on a BBQ (weather permitting).

Alternatively, Halifax town centre is only a short taxi or bus ride away. Your vehicle will be safe with us, so why not take the opportunity to explore the town’s shops, cafés, and attractions. You could even check out the live music at The Piece Hall and turn your visit into a weekend experience.

Our premises are secured with a barrier at the entrance, and any vehicles left overnight are locked behind 6ft steel gates. Please note, however, that we are unable to accommodate vans for longer than one night.

Please ensure your vehicle is clean and free of personal belongings inside before your appointment. For the exterior, we kindly ask that you have it washed beforehand. There is a convenient car wash less than a mile from our premises. Arriving with a dirty van may delay your appointment.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

If you arrive with the interior already taped and prepared (some people like to do it themselves), we’ll be able to prioritise your vehicle in the queue (if multiple vehicles are prepped, priority will be given in order of arrival time).

Don’t worry if not - we’ll handle the whole thing. Taping is included in the service, but please be aware that it is the longest part of the process - so if you're in a rush, it will save you some time to do it yourself.

It does, but we wouldn't recommend using this as a quick-fix over any rust patches. We would recommend ensuring that you have fully rust-treated your vehicle in advance. We are not responsible for any pre-existing rust, damage, or defects on your vehicle.

No problem - if you’re having external work done, we carry this out inside our warehouse, so the weather won’t affect your appointment. Internal applications are always completed outside.

Of course! Our team are all van enthusiasts themselves, and every one of us has spray cork in our own builds. We’re always happy to chat about vans, share stories, festival tips, and swap ideas. On the day you’ll likely meet other like-minded camper owners too - it’s a great chance to exchange designs and inspiration, and you may even leave with some new knowledge for your own project!

You don’t need to worry. We won’t let your vehicle leave until we’re confident it’s safe to drive. As spray cork is air-dried, driving actually helps the curing process, and we may even do a few laps around the block beforehand to speed things up.

If the colour of your van changes, you must inform the DVLA. For example, if you have a white van and we spray it with white cork, no update is needed. However, if the colour is noticeably different, please make sure you notify the DVLA.
